Group Rides

Although the Club is rich in racing history the “Club Run “ remains a staple of the clubs cycling ethos. On a cold January day in 1949 a group of Lune cyclists departed Lancaster and rode to Keswick and over Honister pass before returning home, reaching Lancaster as darkness descended. This was the inaugural “ Lune Club Run “ and most Sundays since then a group of members have departed Lancaster journeying to various locations and taking in the countryside we are so blessed to enjoy in this locale.
